HOPE HOUSE GUTHRIE
BRINGING HOPE TO OUR COMMUNITY AND THEN THE WORLD
Choose Today to be Different and Make a Difference
HopeHouseGuthrie exists to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
SERVING HOPE/MOVING FORWARD
Welcome to HopeHouseGuthrie! This facility comes with a fully equipped commercial kitchen; 22 furnished client/guest rooms with shared full baths; furnished offices and various common areas and meeting rooms.
Along with the transitional housing, we will be offering associated services; addiction recovery support, general counseling, budgeting, Bible study, employment transition, etc.
We are in the midst of two fundraising efforts and would prayerfully request your support.
We have launched the 300 Club and currently have more than 20 members. Members of the 300 Club agree to donate at least $10 a month to help sustain our mission.
We have also initiated our Adopt-a-Room program as suggested by one of our founding supporters. For a minimum donation of $40.00 a month, you are sponsoring a safe place for a person to stay while moving forward on their life-transforming journey.
As we grow, our financial needs will also grow and we trust that with the continued support of our friends and community those needs will be met.
Things you should know....
1. We have NO paid staff. We are volunteer-operated under the guidance of our visionary board of directors, and managed by our director of daily operations.
2. Our donors and their contributed amounts will not be shared without their permission.
3. We are serving hot lunches Monday thru Friday. We anticipate that the number being served will increase due to the ongoing financial hardships caused by current events.
4. Every Tuesday morning at 9:30 we distribute boxed food and produce (when available) to those families that just need a little extra help during these difficult times. The food is delivered directly to your vehicle. There is no need to come inside.
Finally, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and your contributions are tax deductible.

A NEW START
Our local newspaper, Guthrie News Leader, recently ran a story on one of our in-house client residents, David Michael Priest. The story of his journey is both heartbreaking and heartwarming, shared with the purpose of showing others that life after drug/alcohol addiction is possible. To read the full story, click here:
